Totem and taboo,the magic of the mask and fascination of the fetish are the elements,forming the basis of my etchings.
By means of etchings,line-etching,Aquatint,dragging and mezzotinto. I creates the pictures on zincplates.Besides usual tools I also work with the drill,chisel or metal-saw. Objects are manipulated,partly destroyed or called into question by use of the etching.
Through the sawing out of plate parts,piling and soldering on,I effects blind prints on hand made etching paper. With this technic I dimensionalizes my works into a sculptural character.
